We’re already halfway through June! Time sure does fly! We are rapidly approaching the first day of Summer, but my mind is already longing for Fall and colder weather. I am not a fan of this Summer heat and will be spending the next few months locked inside away from the heat, humidity, and most of all the dang bugs. Here’s what I am doing this week:

What I’m Reading

I just finished reading Heartless Hunter by Kristen Ciccarelli last night. I decided to pick up Delilah Green Doesn’t Care by Ashley Herring Blake as my queer romance book for Pride month. I’ve heard great things about it and am excited to read this. Once done, I am going to start The Inheritance Games series by Jennifer Lynn Barnes. Maybe. You know, mood reader problems!

What I’m Listening To

I’ve been really enjoying re-reading the Colorado Mountain series by Kristen Ashley via audiobook. I recently finished Jagged, and just started Kaleidoscope. Kristen Ashley’s books feel like a dear friend once I read them – I always go back to visit from time to time. It’s interesting to do a re-read of these series via audio book. Some of the banter is much more impactful when you can hear it.

What I’m Watching

I am finishing up my rewatch of The Flash. I’m on Season 6, but I might give this up and start watching Bridgerton. I am getting some serious FOMO so I might just find out what the hype is all about.

What I’m Looking Forward To

This week I am hoping to hear back from an application I submitted for a promotion. My anxiety is super high while I wait. Keep me in your thoughts for good news! As far as book events, this weekend will be a lot of fun! On Saturday, I will be checking out A Novel Ideas bookstore for Mr. Darcy’s birthday celebration. On Sunday, I am honored to have been invited by a dear friend of mine for lunch and then an afternoon with TJ Klune. I’m super excited!
