The Love Interest by Victoria Walters was such a fun, charming read! I loved the modern play on Pride and Prejudice with Aiden giving off serious Mr. Darcy vibes — but with a much more swoon-worthy twist. The setting at the university was perfect, and I especially enjoyed that Liv worked in the library. The academic backdrop really added to the cozy, intellectual feel of the story.

The enemies to lovers and best friend’s brother tropes were done so well! Liv and Aiden’s chemistry was everything. The forced proximity aspect was hilarious and gave way to some of the best banter between the two. Their back-and-forth was so much fun, and I couldn’t help but root for them as they went from rivalry to something much more.

I definitely enjoyed this book a lot — it had the right mix of humor, romance, and tension. While it didn’t completely knock my socks off, it was still a really enjoyable read, and I’d recommend it to anyone who loves a good enemies-to-lovers story with some great character banter!
