Say You’ll Remember Me by Abby Jimenez

Abby Jimenez, I genuinely don’t know how you do it—every single book you write is sprinkled with that signature Abby magic, and I absolutely devour it every time.

Lately, I felt a reading slump creeping in (you know the kind: picking up books, putting them down, nothing hitting quite right). So I turned to a sure thing—Say You’ll Remember Me. And of course, it did not disappoint. In fact, it was everything I hoped for and more.

adored Samantha and Xavier. They were both compelling and lovable on their own, but together? Total perfection. I was rooting for them from the first page. The banter? Top-tier. I caught myself chuckling out loud more times than I can count, and I loved every second of it.

As someone who’s worked their way through Abby’s entire backlist, I knew I was in for an emotional ride—and this one absolutely delivered. Samantha’s relationship with her mom really hit close to home for me. It was portrayed with such care and authenticity, and I found myself genuinely moved.

This story worked for me on every level: it made me laugh, it made me feel, and it reminded me exactly why I love reading. That said… I do have one request: can we please get more Jake from State Farm? I feel like we barely scratched the surface with him, and I need more.

If you’re looking for a heartfelt, funny, and emotionally resonant read, Say You’ll Remember Me should be at the top of your list.

From the #1 New York Times bestselling author of Just for the Summer comes a new playful yet deeply emotional contemporary romance.

There might be no such a thing as a perfect guy, but Xavier Rush comes disastrously close. A gorgeous veterinarian giving Greek god vibes—all while cuddling a tiny kitten? Immediately yes. That is until Xavier opens his mouth and proves that even sculpted gods can say the absolute wrong thing. Like, really wrong. Of course, there’s nothing Samantha loves more than proving an asshole wrong…

. . . unless, of course, he can admit he made a mistake. But after one incredible and seemingly endless date—possibly the best in living history—Samantha is forced to admit the truth, that her family is in crisis and any kind of relationship would be impossible. Samantha begs Xavier to forget her. To remember their night together as a perfect moment, as crushing as that may be.

Only no amount of distance or time is nearly enough to forget that something between them. And the only thing better than one single perfect memory is to make a life—and even a love—worth remembering.

Xoxo, Melissa
